Announcing Implantation of the 15,000th IO FiX device

Extremity Medical, LLC (Parsippany, NJ) announced that April 3rd, 2015 marked the implantation date of the 15,000th IO FiX device. The IO FiX System launched globally in June of 2011.

The IO FiX System is a unique fixation platform that enables surgeons to generate high peak compression over a large surface area. The ability to generate compression coupled with the zero profile nature of this intraosseous device makes IO FiX an ideal choice for joint fusions of the foot and ankle.
